Readings & Therapies

My name is Donna, and I have been interested in all things spiritual for as long as I can remember. I have been giving Readings and Therapies for over 25 years. It has only been the last five years where I have started doing them more frequently whilst organising Mind, Body and Spirit Fayres and having my own business with my business partner at Haven Wellbeing Centre, which sadly closed in October 2022.

So I decided to start up on my own with my business Spiritual Wellbeing By Donna which opened in November 2023 and I was open on Evenings and Weekends, as I worked Full Time in my Office job.  I offer Oracle Card Readings, Ribbon Readings, Reiki, Colour Therapy, Crystal Therapy, Mediumship, Indian Head Massage, Sound Therapy, Hand Massage and also have Various Workshops and Events at my place in Washington Village, Tyne & Wear.  See all the details on the Services Page.  My little place, has your home from home feel, my aim is that you feel relaxed as soon as you walk through the doors.  When you come for Therapies, Readings or any Events, feel free to bring your slippers, help yourself to tea, coffee and biscuits and  make yourself at home, enjoy a relaxing time away from the outside world.

A little bit about me, like most I have lost people close to me, my mam, my dad, my best friend to name but a few, have passed into the spirit world. So I know what it is like to go through the pain of loss and the grief, and also know how low it can take you.  I got to a point where I couldn’t get any lower.  Once you get to this point you eventually start to rebuild yourself, day by day, week by week, and month by month.  It’s not easy, but looking back what I have been through has made me a stronger person today, it has took me a very long time to get this point in my life.

At the end of January 2025 I took the leap to leave my full time job of 34 years of working in an office to follow my dream of helping people and building up my little business.  It was a scary decision but I knew it was the right decision, as my heart and passion lies with Holistic Therapies and Readings and anything Spiritual.  I am now there through the Day, Evenings and Weekends and am loving it.  Just being able to meet and help so many people is wonderful, I feel so truly thankful and blessed that my job is my dream job.

I have a Stammer, and this has enabled me to volunteer for the last 20 years at Newcastle University giving talks to Trainee Speech Therapists about Stammering and my experiences through life with mine, it’s nice to give something back. I am 90% fluent now with my stammer, and I just get stuck on the odd word. My stammer doesn’t stop me or hold me back from doing anything, hence starting up my own business.

This is why I would like to help people with different Therapies, Readings and offering a listening ear and various types of Events.  I have done various courses over the years, Colour Therapy, Crystal Therapy, Reiki, Counselling Levels 1, 2 and 3 to name but a few.
