What is Colour Therapy

Colour Therapy is a subtle non-invasive therapy making use of the healing energy contained within the visible rays of colour.  Colour is introduced to aid the optimum balance of colour energies into the human organism in order to promote harmony and balance between the body, mind and spirit.

You do not have to be ill to benefit from Colour Therapy, as we are all striving towards wholeness and perfect health.  Colour Therapy encourages us to take personal responsibility for our life and to use the healing power within ourselves.

Colour Therapy helps to balance energy, aid creativity and learning, release blocks and alleviate physical, emotional and mental conditions.  Colour Therapy also helps people understand their needs for certain colours, and show them how to use the colours for healing, health, relaxation, inspiration and protection.

The therapy session starts with the client lying on the therapy couch and then the chakras are scanned using a pendulum to see which require the colour therapy.  Once this has been done, colour silks are then laid over the relevant chakra then the client closes their eyes and listens to the relaxing music.  Whilst the colour therapy takes place, the practitioner rests their hands for a few minutes on specific areas on or near the body (head, arms and legs) allowing the energy to flow through the client.  During the treatment the client remains fully clothed.  There are 30 minutes and 60 minutes treatments available.
